Abhishek has over fifteen years of academic experience in India, Germany and British institutions. Two years of international and national law firms experience are also to his credit. He has published two books, one of which is being published by Thomson Reuters. His third book is to be published by Routledge. He has also published articles in various academic journals. He is also a Chief Editor and patron of Indian Journal of International and Comparative Law published by Thomson Reuters. He is currently a PhD fellow at Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Graduate School of Law, University of Hamburg, Germany. He is recipient of a grant from Minerva Centre for the Rule of Law in Extreme Conditions University of Haifa, Israel.
He was invited to present paper in prestigious 2nd Young Researcher
Conference on Terrorism and Democracy by University of Haifa, Israel. He has taught at WBNUJS, Kolkata and University of Hamburg, Germany. Abhishek holds an LLM from National University of Singapore, Singapore. Abhishek is recipient of a scholarship by Swiss federal government for the study of MAS at Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland.
In the past, Abhishek had been associated with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, United Nations, the Hague, Netherland. Abhishek has been a visiting faculty at West Bengal Judicial Academy, Kolkata, where he taught trainee magistrates for four years and held refreshment courses for ADJs.
He was also invited to deliver a lecture at Naronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal. He has the experience of setting up question papers for West Bengal Judicial services under the aegis of West Bengal Public Service Commission, Kolkata. He has been writing for newspapers like the Quint, ABP News, and Huffington Post. He appears on various YouTube channel invited as speacialist on legal and international relations subject matter.
